Privacy Policy
Effective August 12, 2026
AcreageAI is a product of Jua Technologies Holdings LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Jua Technologies,” “AcreageAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through AcreageAI (the “Service”), how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. It applies to our marketing site and to the authenticated workspace used by appraisal offices and their staff.
AcreageAI is sold to appraisal offices and other organizational customers (each, a “Customer”) under a subscription agreement. If you are an individual user accessing AcreageAI through your employer, your employer controls your account and is typically the appropriate party to contact first for access, correction, or deletion requests. We describe our own role and responsibilities below.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. Registration is invite-only. When you accept an invitation, we collect your name, work email address, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text) — or, if you choose “Sign in with Google,” the basic profile information Google provides (name, email address, profile photo) under Google’s own terms.
Workspace and appraisal content. The data you and your organization put into the Service in the course of doing appraisal work — subject property details, comp search queries, market adjustment inputs, chat messages with our AI assistant, uploaded files (such as photos or supporting documents), and generated Form 70 reports. This is your organization’s work product, and we process it to operate the Service on your behalf, as described below.
Usage and device information. We use a self-hosted analytics platform that runs on our own infrastructure, not a third party’s. It records standard usage data — pages visited, feature interactions, browser and device type, and IP address — to help us understand how the Service is used and to fix problems. This data is not shared with advertising networks and is not used to build advertising profiles, because we don’t use any.
Cookies. We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to support the analytics described above. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and how to control them.
2. How We Use Information
- To operate the Service — authenticate accounts, run comp searches, calculate adjustments, and generate Form 70 reports.
- To provide support and respond to requests you or your organization send us.
- To maintain the security and integrity of the Service, including detecting abuse and enforcing our Terms of Service.
- To improve the Service, using aggregated or de-identified usage data wherever practical.
- To communicate service-related notices, and, where you’ve requested it, information about AcreageAI.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. AI Processing
Natural-language comp search and the in-workspace AI assistant are powered by a third-party large language model provider (current options include OpenAI, with other providers such as Claude also permissible). When you use these features, the relevant portion of your query and the workspace context needed to answer it are sent to that provider for processing and a response is returned to you. We do not use your appraisal data — or permit our AI subprocessors to use it — to train underlying AI models. Content you submit is processed solely to generate a response within your session, consistent with the commitment we make on our website that your data is used only for appraisal purposes.
4. How We Share Information
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share your appraisal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers (subprocessors) who help us run AcreageAI under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations — including our AI processing provider (Section 3), cloud hosting and object storage for uploaded files and generated reports, and, if you use it, Google (for “Sign in with Google”).
- Demo scheduling. If you click “Request a Demo” on our marketing site, the scheduling widget is provided by Cal.com and governed by Cal.com’s own privacy policy. This tool is not used inside the authenticated workspace.
- Legal and safety. Where required to comply with law, a valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jua Technologies Holdings LLC, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy or a successor policy of comparable protection.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and appraisal data for as long as your organization maintains an active subscription. If a subscription ends, we generally retain the associated data for up to 90 days — to allow for export or reactivation — after which it is deleted or de-identified, unless a longer period is required by law or agreed with your organization. Your organization can request earlier deletion by contacting us.
6. Security
We apply technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of appraisal data, including encryption of data in transit, access-controlled object storage for uploaded files and generated reports, hashed credential storage, and invite-gated registration so accounts can only be created by someone your organization has authorized. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you’re located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because AcreageAI accounts are administered by your employer, we ask that you first raise access, correction, or deletion requests with your organization’s administrator where possible. We will also honor verifiable requests sent directly to us at hello@acreageai.com, consistent with our obligations to our Customers.
8. Children’s Privacy
AcreageAI is a professional tool built for appraisal office staff and is not directed to, or knowingly used by, children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify affected Customers directly. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
10. Contact Us
